As Head of Debt & Capital Advisory, Martin has 20 years of professional experience in corporate & investment banking, including 3 years with mezzanine funds. His professional background includes Dresdner Bank/ Kleinwort, European Capital, M Cap Finance and Mediobanca Germany branch. Martin has outstanding expertise in corporate finance and capital structures, including classic corporate as well as acquisition finance and solutions for restructuring situations (bridge, new financing building blocks, etc.). Martin advises on (re-)financing transactions for companies in all sectors and project finance including greenfield/brownfield/decarbonization projects (hydrogen, steel, etc.) and also advises on transactions in the areas of real estate, infrastructure, green energy, defense. The expertise includes in-balance and off-balance solutions as well as complex cross-border and capital markets issues.
Martin has a strong and broad network (D/A/CH & international) of companies, investors and financing partners with many successful transactions for family and capital market companies, private equity & debt investors as well as family offices. In addition, Martin has very solid experience in M&A, ECM, DCM and Derivatives.
