Dr. Nicholas Hanser is a Partner and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Saxenhammer.
His team focuses on software, digital healthcare, technology-enabled services, FinTech and the broader technology sector.
Nicholas has nearly 20 years of experience in international corporate finance, having worked in investment banking at firms such as Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), Jefferies, BNP Paribas and Bryan Garnier in Zurich, London, Frankfurt and Munich.
During his career, he has been involved in more than 60 transactions in various industries with a transaction volume of more than € 35 billion. His focus has been on the technology and healthcare sectors. He has a global network in the investment and finance industry and has successfully completed transactions with companies such as Hellman & Friedman, Blackstone, Scout24, Thoma Bravo, Hanover Acceptances, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Telekom, Commerzbank, Elis, Manz, Zealand Pharma, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Nordex, Aixtron, Refresco Gerber, 3i Group, Imprivata, Seplat Petroleum, Sixt Leasing, Telefonica, tado, Salto Systems, Rolls-Royce PS, Medartis, Medigene, HABYT, NexWafe, Vehiculum, Acatus, Cognitec and MorphoSys. He is also an active private start-up investor and serves on the board of several companies in the technology sector.
As Partner and Head of Technology Investment Banking at SXH, he also leads our global CDI Global Technology Investment Banking team.
Nicholas studied in Munich, Paris and Oxford and holds a PhD in Economics and Management and a Master in Management from ESCP Business School and a Master of Science from Bayes Business School (formerly known as Cass Business School) in London.
