The Corona crisis burdens business with mergers and acquisitions in Germany. By the end of the year, business could decline by 50 to 75 percent from the second quarter onwards. The market for M&A has "come to a standstill these days", says Christian Saxenhammer. Before the outbreak of the Corona crisis, there had been a large number of transactions in Germany, even medium-sized ones; "the pipeline was really well filled". Now everything has been put on ice.
